Forty years of expertise. Almost no one knew it.

Score is a global provider of valve services and emissions management solutions with more than four decades of engineering expertise. The company knew how to solve complex emissions challenges for energy operators worldwide. Outside its existing client base, almost no one was aware it could.

Score had also outgrown the brand it was carrying. Originally a family business, it had become a serious global player, but its identity hadn't kept pace. Before a campaign could work, the brand needed to work first. Fifth Ring rebuilt it from the ground up, establishing the proposition "Global expertise. In operation",  a shift from describing services to asserting outcomes.

With the new positioning in place, the next challenge was activation: taking that brand platform to market and generating measurable commercial engagement from a highly technical, relationship-driven global audience.

Fifth Ring developed the campaign concept "Now You Know." A phrase that played on the familiar idea of knowing the score, turning it into a device that surfaced Score's engineering depth to an audience that had never been properly reached. The idea came directly from the brand work: once operators involve Score in a technical challenge, the answers become clear.

The campaign reframed emissions elimination not as an environmental initiative but as an operational and engineering challenge; precisely the lens through which Score's target audiences experience it.

Every benchmark beaten. Significantly.

The brand activation campaign delivered 1.02 million impressions and 133+ qualified leads, with a single Sponsored Messaging campaign alone generating 90 of them. CTR of 0.76% sat 36% above the LinkedIn benchmark. Cost per click came in at £4.19, against a KPI of £8.78 and an industry benchmark of £4.42.

More than 68% of engagement came from professionals at oil and gas operators, and several leads progressed into commercial opportunities worth hundreds of thousands of pounds, translating marketing performance directly into pipeline value.
