  • Being a gatekeeper of Fifth Ring’s strategic quality throughout project and account lifecycles
  • Conducting qualitative and quantitative research and analysis to identify prospective brand positioning traits in the context of market trends, opportunities, and challenges
  • Transforming raw data into meaningful insights, whether written, verbal or other, complete with supporting evidence
  • Facilitating brand strategy sessions with client leadership to obtain relevant information and build consensus and support
  • Supporting or leading in Strategy presentation sessions
  • Being a robust defender of the agency’s values, people and commercial interests
  • Working closely with Strategy and Creative colleagues to:
    • Support in the development and presentation of unique and original insights that succinctly defines the client’s business / brand
    • Craft brand architecture, positioning and differentiation strategies
    • Write compelling brand narratives
    • Create brand guidelines and go-to-market activation plans that define the client’s voice both online and offline
Essential Skills
  • B2B marketing communications experience and knowledge, preferably from an agency setting
  • Experience in developing branding and marketing strategies for clients or B2B organisations
  • Presentation skills experience, both written and in person as well as executive facilitation skills
  • A deep interest in data gathering, interpretation, analysis and presentation
  • A creative bent: the imagination and skills to draft briefs that reflect the agreed positioning to get the very best out of the creative teams.
  • Effective customer and stakeholder relationship management skills, including active listening, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and cultivate positive client relationships based on trust
  • Positively represent the Fifth Ring brand globally
  • A commitment to adhere to predictable delivery schedules
  • The confident ability to respectfully challenge both clients and colleagues when necessary and with the goal of delivering the best possible outcome for all
  • Strong written and verbal professional communication skills
  • Bachelors’ Degree qualified (ideally in strategy, communications, public relations, marketing communications, business management, linguistics, or a related subject) or equivalent professional experience
