Let’s go on a journey.
What to Expect Ahead of Offshore Europe
With Offshore Europe right around the corner, it’s time to start planning.
Lucky for you, we’ve got everything you need to know about this year’s event in one place.
Founded in 1971, Offshore Europe is an E&P exhibition and conference held on a biennial basis. This year, Offshore Europe will be held at Aberdeen’s brand new state-of-the-art events venue, P&J Live, from Tuesday 3rd to Friday 6th September.
Recognised by industry professionals as Europe’s leading E&P event, the exhibition will showcase thousands of the newest upstream technologies and provides visitors with the opportunity to connect with over 900 suppliers, from global market leaders to innovative technology companies.
The SPE Offshore Europe Conference is the largest free-to-attend conference in the industry. The programme, which incorporates this year’s overall theme: “Our license to operate: breaking through to excellence”, includes 12 keynote sessions and over 65 technical presentations led by senior global representatives on topics including underwater innovation, transformative technologies and artificial intelligence.
With over 48,000 square metres of exhibition space, walking the floor at Offshore Europe is the perfect way to network with the 36,000+ attendees. As well as this, events like business breakfasts are great for connecting with fellow industry professionals:
AGCC Business Breakfast, 3rd September, 07:30 – 09.30 – Kicking off the conference, this year’s business breakfast will focus on new technologies with speakers including Neil Saunders (president and CEO, BHGE Oilfield Equipment), Remi Eriksen (group president and CEO, DNV GL) and Paul Bogenrider (economist and energy futurist, EY).
