The global agency, which has offices in Singapore and Houston, and is headquartered in the UK, was shortlisted in the ‘Most Effective Use of Integrated Media’ award category at the ceremony in Shangri-La Singapore last night (15 May).
The category recognises companies that can demonstrate the most effective use of various marketing mediums to create and support a unified and exemplary integrated marketing communications strategy. The skill of combining intimate media understanding with powerful channel presence, working together to deliver real value and impact, formed the core criteria behind the category.
Fifth ring’s award submission showcased how the agency supported its client, ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), a global leader in professional accountancy with over 776,000 members and students worldwide, to celebrate its 88th Anniversary in Singapore.
The "ACCA88: Living Legacy" campaign was initiated to celebrate this significant milestone in Singapore, where ACCA has played a pivotal role in shaping the local accounting landscape. The campaign targeted a diverse audience, including members, students, employers, industry partners, stakeholders, and aspiring young accountants. The core objective was not only to commemorate the past, but to leverage this milestone to inspire the next generation of accounting professionals and solidify ACCA's position as a leading force in Singaporean accounting.
The campaign leveraged a multi-faceted strategy including focussing on media relations to secure high-profile interviews and coverage, implementing a robust social media strategy across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook, and also executing a paid social media campaign with targeted LinkedIn and Instagram adverts featuring influential figures and compelling narratives to amplify key messages.
