From energy and maritime to technology and manufacturing, we work with ambitious businesses operating in complex, competitive markets. We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our Client Services team in Houston and take ownership of key client relationships across the Americas and beyond.

As a Senior Account Manager in Houston, you'll be working at the heart of one of the world's most important energy markets. You'll work across borders, lead complex conversations, and play an active role in shaping how we deliver work and grow relationships. You will collaborate closely with senior specialists across strategy, creative, campaign, content, PR and web, contributing to high-impact, international programmes.

 

The role.

As a Senior Account Manager, you will lead high-value client accounts, acting as the primary point of contact and the internal owner of delivery, performance and growth. You will translate client objectives into clear, effective marketing strategies and ensure those strategies are executed to a consistently high standard. That means managing complex projects, briefing multidisciplinary teams, maintaining tight control of timelines, budgets and KPIs, and overseeing quality at every stage.

You will be a trusted advisor to your clients, providing confident strategic guidance, challenging thinking where needed, and spotting opportunities to improve performance and expand the relationship. Beyond day-to-day delivery, you will contribute to account growth, proposal development and business development activity, while supporting and mentoring junior team members.

This is a role for someone who is comfortable with responsibility and visible leadership.

What you'll bring.

You will bring significant experience in client services within a B2B marketing or communications agency, with a proven track record of managing complex accounts and senior client stakeholders. You understand how marketing drives business outcomes, not just activity. You are strategically minded but operationally strong — able to zoom out to shape direction and zoom in to ensure the detail is right.

You are commercially aware, confident managing budgets and performance reporting, and capable of protecting margins without compromising quality. Experience in energy or other industrial sectors is an advantage, but what matters most is your ability to get under the skin of a client's business and deliver work that makes a measurable impact.
