Senior Account Executives work with the account management team to provide essential administrative, financial and tactical support across a range of clients. They contribute to the leadership and management of client activity at Fifth Ring, including those requiring integrated and international assistance, delivering real and measurable impact on clients’ businesses.

Client

• Proactively manage client relationships, identifying challenges and concerns the client has and using long-term “big picture” thinking to help the account grow, alongside Account Manager and Business Development team
• Support account management and growth of nominated client accounts
• Support in creating and driving the agency/client account plan
• Work with colleagues to develop and implement creative and dynamic ideas and recommendations to client
• Support in creating, owning and driving the clients’ marcomms plan including working closely, efficiently and proactively to provide accurate and timely support and updates on account activity including contact reports and agendas
• Proactive management of client projects, contributing to ensure delivery on time, on budget and to the agreed quality standard
• Positioning themselves and Fifth Ring as the client’s “trusted advisor”
• Manage and execute small project negotiations to optimise financial margins
• Manage the financial health of jobs/projects/retainers, including regular budget checks and having regular dialogue with Account Managers on accounts to ensure viability and mitigate financial and relationship risks
  

Company

• Work with Account Managers and Business Development team in activating client account growth plans within existing client base across all product and service lines
• Work with Account Managers and Business Development team to prepare and deliver proposals and presentations for new business
• Support Account Managers to ensure all work is commercially optimised and financial risks are mitigated
• Being a robust defender of the agency’s values, people and commercial interests
• Ensuring Fifth Ring processes and procedures are followed at all times
• Demonstrating the effectiveness and impact of our work
• Undertake industry and marketing research to ensure Fifth Ring stays at the forefront of its business
• Author content for Fifth Ring’s marketing activities as necessary

Colleagues

• Cultivate and rely on extensive informal networks inside and outside the agency to solve problems, keeping in regular contact with global Fifth Ring team members
• Provide proactive support and updates on client activity to the Account Managers and Traffic Manager to ensure the smooth running of client accounts, that client requirements are being met, and efficient and cohesive service is provided
• Support colleagues in all Fifth Ring locations through proactive connectivity, creativity and visibility.
• Other duties will be assigned as required and as appropriate, in agreement with the line manager
