Digital Strategist

We’re looking for a digital strategist who has experience in driving effectiveness across all elements of a digital campaign. You will have an ability to deliver campaigns that move customers to take action.

Collaborating with the Creative and Digital teams to get our campaigns in front of the right people at the right time, while maximising return for clients. Experience of managing the roll-out of both paid and organic campaigns a must. The role requires attention to detail, strong presentation skills and the ability to forge and build client relationships.

Role overview

  • Develop, implement, track and optimise digital marketing campaigns across all relevant digital channels.
  • Provide both recommendations and hands-on implementation and optimisation of campaigns.
  • Maximizing the outcomes of campaigns through successful placement, insightful crunching of the numbers, and the provision of actionable feedback to our creative team.
  • Gather data to understand our client, and their world, often involving highly technical products and services.
  • Lead the development of insight-driven strategic digital marketing plans.
  • Contribute to idea generation with colleagues in the creative team.
  • Write excellent creative briefs based on opportunities identified.
  • Uncover digital insights and provide thought leadership in a collaborative, cross-functional environment. 
  • Contribution to wider client plans (account and/or agency plans).
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of new agency products and services.   

The skills required:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to take abstract and complex terminology and situations, and present them in lay terms both internally and to clients.
  • Previous experience working in digital campaign planning and delivery. 
  • Deep knowledge of digital technologies and demonstrated experience building and leading multiple digital media campaigns simultaneously.
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns.
  • Experience in optimising landing pages and user funnels, A/B and multivariate experiments and keyword discovery.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Clear understanding of search engine marketing and applying SEO best practices.
  • Resilience and enthusiasm to work across numerous parallel projects.
  • Passion for technology and innovation, always seeking opportunities to reach and delight our audiences to drive growth for clients.
  • Basic skills in working with code an advantage, basic HTML, PHP & JS. 
  • An understanding of business-to-business marketing and communications. 
  • Fluent in English.
