We're hiring: Business Development Executive

Based in our Singapore agency.

We are looking for a resilient and driven Business Development Executive to work with our Senior Business Development Manager to drive new business pipeline for our company in Asia. You will be part of a team that susses new opportunities to achieve sales targets, through prospecting leads, identifying opportunities, and building and maintaining relationships.

The candidate must have strong communications skills, and a flair for sales data management and research. With aptitude, proactive thinking and skills development demonstrated, additional training and direct client contact opportunities will be provided.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Gain deep understanding of all products and services offered by our company
  • Conduct cold calling to attract new prospects and to identify potential opportunities
  • Identify potential opportunities via research and proactive reading of latest news and updates in the relevant industries
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to assess market movements and identify threats and opportunities
  • Communicate with clients to understand their needs and offer solutions to their challenges
  • Develop and maintain lists of target prospects and events within nominated market and industries
  • Keep abreast of latest news and trend in the relevant industries
  • Attend virtual and face-to-face networking activities alongside Senior manager to gain new contacts and build new relationships
  • Provide support in proposal research and development and client presentations where needed
  • Work closely with Account Servicing team to ensure relevant information is given to each team for effective proposal delivery when needed
  • Consistent updates of customer details on CRM system
  • Any other duties that may be assigned that are compatible with skills and experience

Requirements and skills:

  • Degree or Diploma in related fields, such as marketing, communications, business administration, or similar qualifications
  • At least one year of business development experience in B2B sector / agency setting
  • Intuitive and insightful, particularly regarding human behaviour
  • Great networking skills
  • Ability to establish positive first impressions, build and nurture relationships
  • Good business acumen
  • Resourceful with outstanding research skills and ability to translate findings into communications messages
  • Confident and pro-active with a positive attitude
  • Emboldened by challenges
