Account Manager

Fifth Ring is an award-winning marketing communications agency specialising in the B2B sector. The UK-based company was founded by a group of passionate marketers in 1991 and has offices in Scotland, American and Singapore, as well as strong partners around the world. 

At our Asia headquarter here in Singapore, we work with clients in industries such as energy, technology, and professional services, among others, on their regional and global communications efforts. Through the right mix of brand and strategy, digital media, creative, public relations, advertising and exhibitions, every piece of work we design is to a common goal: to strengthen our clients' market positions. 

As we are rapidly expanding in the region, we are looking for an Account Manager to join our dynamic team in creating effective marketing communications campaigns for clients in the region. 

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end management of client projects, ensuring delivery on time, on budget and to the agreed quality standard
  • Maintain positive working relations with colleagues, agency partners and suppliers globally to ensure the products/service delivered is aligned with clients' requirements
  • Collaborate across offices to develop and implement creative and dynamic ideas that achieve client marketing communication objectives
  • Provide business development support by managing and executing new business negotiations
  • Manage the financial health of jobs, including performing regular budget checks and resourcing capacities
  • Nurture accounts to drive organic revenue growth through development planning 
  • Proactively provide support and enhance the professional development of junior members
  • Keep abreast of latest news and trends in the B2B marketing communications space

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience working in a marketing communications agency, ideally in B2B space
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills. Knowledge in other Asian language is a plus point
  • Market-by-market understanding of the culture, economics, and media environment in Asia
  • Highly motivated self-starter, thrive in performance-driven environment
  • Experience in leading new business efforts
  • Able to present solutions and ideas in a persuasive and compelling manner
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
