In the energy industry, acquisitions are fairly regular. These can be good for business, but bad for brands, leaving a business offering fragmented and confused. But it can also be a great chance to take a fresh look at your brand and find the blue ocean space that differentiates you from your competitors. With Expro, our task was to turn a ‘house of brands’ into a ‘branded house’ and in doing so elevate awareness and reposition the company as a leading global service provider. Fifth Ring worked with Expro to develop their communications strategy, create the new identity and provide the communications support to implement the new brand both internally and externally. Our work for Expro was subsequently rewarded with a Silver Pride Award from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations for an Integrated Communications campaign.
